STIMS Instructions

STIMS stands for "Student Team Information Member System" and is what FIRST uses to connect students with FTC teams, collect Consent and Release forms for participation in FIRST events, and stay in touch with FIRST participants.

Every year, students MUST register for a team and have their parent/guardian sign the Consent and Release forms in order to participate in any FIRST events, including both our hosted and attending competitions.

STIMS Instructions for Students

Step 1: Register for a FIRST account at firstinspires.org

We are Andover Senior High School
We compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge

Step 2: Log in to your FIRST account

Step 3: After logging in, go to “My Teams” on your Dashboard and select “Apply to a Team”

Team Numbers:
- 4410 - ARC Lightning
- 10331 - ARC Hailstorm
- 5273 - ARC Thunder
- 24256 - ARC Sandstorm

Step 4: On your Dashboard, go to “Parent/Guardian - Youth” and select “Invite Parent/Guardian”

Your parent/guardian will receive an email from FIRST inviting them to create an account
If you have registered in previous seasons your parent/guardian may already be invited and you may skip this step

STIMS Instructions for Parents/Guardians

Step 1: Register for a FIRST account by following the instructions in the email sent to you by FIRST

Your student will have invited you to as their parent/guardian through their own FIRST account
Skip this step if you have already registered in previous seasons

Step 2: Log in to your FIRST account at firstinspires.org

Step 3: On your Dashboard, click the dropdown in the top right and select "Acknowledgement Forms"

Sign any forms that are required

Step 4: On your Dashboard, select "Parent/Guardian - Youth”

Step 5: Select your student's name, and select "Youth Options" then "Youth's Consent and Release"

A new page will appear
Sign any of the forms that are required
